Freesia McKee is a working poet and essayist.
Freesia’s first chapbook How Distant the City is forthcoming from Headmistress Press in 2017. Her self-published chapbook of post-election poems For the Immediate Aftermath is available online.

With Anja Notanja Sieger, Freesia co-hosted The Subtle Forces, a weekly morning show on Riverwest Radio in which two of Milwaukee’s wittiest, devilish non-men explored the “subtle forces” that mess with every aspect of their lives.
Freesia lives in North Miami where she attends Florida International University and reads submissions for Gulf Stream Magazine.
